Ladies and Gentlemen, We Have Hit 100!!!

The Titan Owners Club was started by Drake for the purpose of registering all of the official Forge World produced God-Engines that are out there.  It was started as a means to track all of the engines and to help inspire others.  It's grown into a vibrant and involved community that continues to grow.

The first Titan to go up was Bone Garland, Drake's own offering to the community.  That happened on 24/7/15.  Looking at your calendar now, you can see that it was just over a year ago.  The birthday went by quietly and unremarked upon because of the busy schedule of its blog co-owners.  Not today, because we say HAPPY BIRTHDAY Titan Owners Club!  That's right, the blog has officially hit a year old, and we have a celebration for it.  (Check back on this post later today and you'll see what we mean).

"But wait....this isn't about the birthday....you promised us 100 Titans today!" some of you may say or think.  And you're still right.  Today, we celebrate three major achievements for the Titan Owners Club:

  • The blog's first birthday less than a week ago.
  • The blog's 200th post just days ago.
  • The 100th registered Titan.
Earlier this morning, the 100th Titan of the blog came up in the form of a sonet, the Sonet of Calamity.  Titan no. 100 is the Warhound Titan Sonet Malis, ironically also owned by Drake who didn't realize it was his Engine that would take the honor until just last night.  Two tributes have been planned for the day.  Drake has taken over some cake duty, and Shadow's offering to this momentous occasion is below.

Every good celebration deserves cake.  This one looks awfully familiar....

Mars-Alpha inspired.  Let's hope it doesn't taste like Martian sand.

While it is a long video (just shy of 15 minutes) it pays tribute to ALL 100 Titans of the blog, each Titan being shown off for a few seconds while also paying respect to the community that has developed and the constant drive to do new things for this blog. Before you see the video, we would just like to say thank you for making this possible.  We (Drake and Shadow) are constantly being thanked for having the site and doing the work, but we would like to also say thank you for giving us the material to work with and for being the community that drives TOC.  To see the video celebrating your achievement, simply click:

  3. I am just going to echo Brandon. Also, my Reaver arrived today (though I won't get a chance to actually see it until I get home from work) - coincidence or auspicious beginning?

Really cool to see this page grow so much!

  4. Yeah! Wonderful stuff. Lots of benchmarks, cool. Look forward to seeing Drakes progress with a smaller brother for Bone Garland, 1st and 100th, fitting. And a shout to Shadow for your hard work and posting, cheers mate.

    1. Thanks Siph. It's been a ball to work on TOC and the future for this group is very bright. I'm very excited about today. Hopefully you get to enjoy watching your Titans in the video. :) I had a blast working on it.

As far as Drake being 1 and 100, it was pure coincidence. I picked on him when he realized it last night because he hadn't intended it to happen and yet I knew it was his two days before and he didn't connect the dots at the time. I agree with you, it's fitting that his Engine hit the benchmark.

We keep hitting these benchmarks because of our very dedicated members and our future is near limitless. The Warhounds are in the 4600 series and so even at 100 Titans (only 47 are Warhounds), we have quite a bit to register and we are very eager to see just how many of the world's Titans we can get. But the first 100 are truly special.

  6. Congratulations to our founders for creating some amazing and thanks to all my fellow contributors. I love every machine on this blog and am proud to be a part of the numbers. Looking forward to the next 100 Titans which should include a Warhound from myself (as soon as I finalize a name). Drake and Shadow, you guys are the best.

  9. Kyle, I'm in the process of migrating the video to YouTube. My OneDrive where we were hosting the video decided to be hateful. My sincerest apologies. It should be available later today and we will post a new link at the time.

  10. Please try this location instead: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N-dYhjIpdmo&feature=youtu.be

We were forced to upload it to a new place. This should take care of any future issues.

  11. This open to Xenos as well? Because my Supremacy gets grouped together with titans.

    1. Hi. The Tau Supremacy armour is a Titan suit. Does it come with a certificate?
