    1. Thanks guys , lots and lots of time spent getting this far. Just finished building the Chicken Coop to go on top, so hopefully should start painting that shortly.

    1. Hi, Thanks for your kind words.
I used quite a few different weathering techniques on this, chipping was done using a mix of black and rhinox brown as the main line the bottom fine highlight was Mig's Silver Grey, second was using a Chipping solution underneath the base colour then scratched off with water and a cocktail stick, just be gentle or test first on another piece in case you get a bit too heavy handed.
Also used the sponge technique with Chainmail dabbed gently and black / brown as a contrast on the edges. Windsor and Newton oils in Burnt Umber and Burned Sienna to give the rusted look / blotches and the blended with white spirit to give the streaks. Also used airbrushed Seraphim Sepia to tone down the "bright shiny new paint look" on the main armour and metal areas. The metal edging was Balthasar Gold washed with good old Nuln Oil, Seraphim Sepia and then Agrax Earthshade. For the rust I quite like AK's enamel Light Rust wash and Crusted Rust deposits which gives the Titan a nice "used / worn " look. and finally Brown Ink around where the Balthasar Gold edging meets the main armour just so it doesn't look too stark !
But it all depends on how long you want to spend on something, I just like to spend time on something when its cost as much as it did.
      Hope this helps.
      Cheers Dave
