Certificate Number: 228
Titan Name: Lazarus Ascendant
Pattern: Mars Pattern

Princeps: TBA
Titan Legio: Atarus

Comments: Both arm mounts and both carapace mounts are magnetised to allow swapping of weaponry

The waist is also magnetised to allow full 360 degree rotation of the torso.

The head is also magnetised allowing it to be removed to better access the 'Helm'

Still very much a W.I.P (We look forward to seeing you complete the journey - TOC)

WORK IN PROGRESS PHOTOS:

A very big magnet, that should keep the torso quite well held together.

A very lovely start to the internals.

And a very new take on magnetizing the arms.

Nothing but magnets to form the elbow.

Great start to the Titan so far.  Keep it up!

  1. Gorgeous work! Interesting magnetization scheme as well, I will have to keep it in mind!

  2. Interesting elbows, great scheme, knees attract too much attention but guess once the transfers and icons are in place they will cool down a bit?

    1. Yeah its just the bright base layer. The blues will all be toned down more like the darker half of right kneepad. The middle of each panel will be brighter for contrast for dark transfers. Overall look should be much more subdued with bright areas covered in dark transfers then blended in.

  3. Looks good, I've just started painting my Warlord for Atarus too. I'm pretty much copying your carapace and torso scheme, so thanks for sharing!

  4. I like how you are doing the magnets. How flexible/noticeable are they?

    1. The arm gun magnets are the only noticable ones currently.
As it currently is it is more noticable the more the guns are tilted down.

I saved the elbow joint when i removed it to make room for the magnets so i plan to file down a veneer made from the original surface and cover the exposed area of magnet.

  5. What size are those magnets?

  6. I love the magnets for the weapon arms. How is arm stability with tilting?

    1. The arms are completely stable. I stacked a whole lot of magnets togather so each arm is very securely attached but can be tilted without much effort.
