Comments: This was bought from Rune M. aka “The Rulebook”, fully assembled and painted. Previous Owners Comments: First part of Legio Quake. It is a custom legion to honour my all time favourite childhood game; Quake. The idea is a yellow and dark blue theme, with heavy rust and weathering. Will be fitted with custom decals with text/icons from the Quake universe.

Lucky you got a low Certificate number, I bought mine on realease day and it’s around 200 mark... enjoy the build, go for a static pose as there is not much give in the knees and legs for movement.
ReplyDeleteYe. Still missing some of the elbow joint, but got it replaced. I agree there ain't much give in the knees for posing but still went for a walking pose. It was a paint to get right. Soon done with with the legs so will upload some progress soon.
DeleteThat red is gorgeous (the yellow, too). Is it just Tamiya or GW under the weathering?
ReplyDeleteThanks! Not sure what you mean with "under"? It's GW primer. Then layers of yellow and red from both vallejo and GW. The weathering is painted on. The yellow is glazed on with a brush over Ushabti bone.
