Update - Reaver Titan No. 3376 - Indomitable, Legio Prydannica - 16 Feb 26

Princeps Alex has updated us with progress with the Rites of Colour for his Reaver Titan and some after action report pict captures! Thanks to Princeps Alex for sending in the great pictures of titans in action.

AFTER ACTION PICT CAPTURES:

A deployment alongside the 82nd armoured regiment of the Death Korps of Krieg (also unfinished after 6 years of work... I'm a slow painter) facing chaos Knights in blue and gold, unfortunately the Reaver needed recovery alongside the death of the first company of the 82nd

ruly momentous battle of I'm actually starting to think it was I believe 20k points per side.

You had 2 Chaos Knight armies and a Tau army with a traitorous Reaver Titan Vs the Imperial Fists the Custodes and the 82nd Death Korps again. That was an indecisive battle but a lot of fun. The enemy Reaver killed my titan and then my Reaver killed his (units didn't stay dead we mostly came for the enjoyment of seeing friends).

One unfortunate battle between me and a good friend before he flew back home, his Night lords had taken Indomitable by surprise and managed to take down the titan with few losses, that was a wonderful game which I shan't forget but it's pictures are mainly of the perspective of his chaos marines facing down Indomitable.

And alongside some rather large knights of other good friends who I once worked with as we face the Green skin Horde of another good friend who we worked with.

Comments: A second-hand purchase I was fortunate enough to get from another Titan Owners Club Member Andy B. (His Warlord here). The Reaver has been transferred from Legio Defensor and now acquired for Legio Astorum. Now undergoing the rites of Re-dedication and Re-construction. A complex magnetic arrangement in arms/weapons as well as shoulders to make close-combat weapons or ranged weapons interchangeable.

In original Defensor livery, the kneecap has been re-painted to show the combined loyal service of this Engine now undergoing re-dedication to Legio Astorum.

Undergoing the Rites of re-construction and re-dedication, but a awesome walking pose from TOC Member Andy B. means this God Engine really suits close combat weapons, already armed with a 3D printed Reaver Chainfist - such a swagger! (Forge World Chainfist is long out of production!)

Comments: I had my eyes on another titan, but the Adeptus Mechanicus recovery groups of Princeps Senioris Siph managed to get there first. At least this gives me the chance to fully build and paint my first titan! [TOC Siph - Sorry!]

9.362.653.M37: The workers of Manufactorum Aquila-IX have completed their latest work in the finishing silos. Now all the parts are going to make the long trip to the Forge-World of Lucius, so they can be sanctified (separated from their resin blocks and scrubbed clean), fitted together, and finally consecrated to the Omnissiah and his loyal servants of the Legio Astorum.

3.045.026M41: After being lost in a Warp Storm for almost 40 Millenia, the Titan finally arrives at Lucius, and sanctification is quickly started. Now a veritable horde of Techpriest Fabricators and their Servitors have engulfed all parts of the Titan, and each piece, from the biggest armour plates to the smallest bolts are being sanctified in the Rites of Cleansing.

Comments: This will be a 'DakkaLord', a Warlord armed with multi-barrelled Macro-Gatling Blasters and carapace Gatling Blasters, great for punishing Voids and smaller lighter Engines. But the close range nature of the weapons means it needs to close the enemy, meaning 
'DakkaLord' Princeps and their Engine Spirits tend to be head-strong and impetuous. Just transferred to Legio Astorum in the Hampshire Battlezone and is undergoing the Rites of Colour and Rites of Re-Armament.

A great starting point from the old Owner to make Siph's own scheme.

Custom 3D printed carapace Gatling Blasters will adorn the top, custom because these options are not available from Forge World. Alternatively these can be constructed by chopping up Laser Blasters and Gatling Blasters to make a conversion, but that's very pricey alternative! Above can be seen the first of two Macro-Gatling Blasters for the main arm weapons.

Siph has already prepared the new Lucius Head and heraldic shields, chequers will be replicated across the scheme rather than Siph's usual white stripes as an accent.

Rites of Re-Armament will take place to make a 'DakkaLord' but these armaments will remain in the armoury for interchangeable options.

Currently a Mars-Alpha head which will be swapped with a Lucius-Alpha Head
