Comments:
Borealis Xanthus is currently fast in progress, and is scheduled to Walk in the Horus Heresy Big Blam Megabattle at the NOVA Open 2017. Upgrades include a customized left arm weapon, LED lighting in the head, torso, and weapon arms, customization in the cockpit to represent the Ciricrux Anima, and an internal speaker to blare warhorns.

Photos of the initial layout and prep are attached, and I plan frequent update during the build and paint process. I've included images of the boxes, certificate, initial layout, and post cleaning, as well as the Claw construction. Next week I should have paint tests for the armor plates and images of the cockpit, as well as LED lighting test for the head.

WORK IN PROGRESS PHOTOS:

The wonderful boxes that signify the start of a Warlord!

All the parts laid bare and ready to be assembled.

Never ceases to amaze how big the claw actually is.

A lovely start to a deadly weapon.

A lot has been done on the head and body.

Very lovely work on the weapons, and a cool conversion for the Ordo Sinister's specialized weapon.

And a unique and great looking conversion for the head and shoulder plates as well.

    3. I'm pleased everyone digs the direction I've gone. Warlord Sinister desrciptions are thin so I've taken some license. LED test today didn't go well so I'm delayed a bit but it shouldn't slow me too much.

Would love to see how you did this and the paint scheme. You're more than welcome to send in a painting tutorial for how you did and and we'll show it off for you.

    1. The heads were 3d printed, the mane and Legion symbol on the forehead was sculpted with green stuff.
