Hello Princeps,
I have a Warbringer Nemesis Titan in the to-do pile, however I never committed to buying a head with the first purchase of Body and Carapace Main Armament, the Mori-Quake Cannon. I am glad I held off and now Forge World have released an alternative head and carapace main armament (Belicosa Volcano Cannon - currently only available as a bundle with the Warbringer Body).
Lets unbox this alternative Knightly head...
The box o'resin joy
Inside the parts are packed neatly into two compartments to avoid breakages in warp translation.
The Mars-Delta Head comes with full instructions
Clear and in colour, a vast improvement to what's still found in Warhound and Reaver titans!
The Princeps and Moderati I believe are the same as the crew in the original Warbringer Mars-Alpha head which is a little disappointing and a missed opportunity in my opinion.
The Heraldic Shields are a different design which is nice.
The only change to the kit from the Mars-Alpha is the main faceplates, one with a Knightly Cross, and the other grill perforations, mimicking the Medieval Knight style..Inside the Command Deck is highly detailed with machinery and dials and view screens for the Princeps and Moderati to fight the Titan.
The Neck piece has pre-drilled holes for magnets which line up with the Neck piece in the main Warbringer Body kit, allowing head swaps between Titans, so even if you have an existing Titan with Mars-Alpha Head, you'll be able to swap the head for the Mars-Delta if you so wished.
Even though the Princeps is the same as the Mars-Alpha Warbringer head, he is very characterful and nothing a head swap wouldn't change if you had both and wanted some personality differences.
Overall, a clean cast kit, little flash and no observed mould slippage and only one or two bubbles in the trim to fill easily with greenstuff. A nice addition to the Warbringer range. I just need to start the Warbringer project....
Cheers, Princeps Seniores Siph, TOC Admin.
