Comments:

A hundred spirits forged between hammer and anvil; the phantoms rise from the ashes of Heresy. What tragedy has wrought these Grim Reapers, and what bargain hath these princeps struck?

The Legio Phasmatis walks.

The Legio Phasmatis are the sole beneficiaries of the Rights of Resurrection, the so-called Phoenix’s Rebirth. If the Tech-adepts of the nomadic forge fleet known as the Viatrix were rightly labelled, the Lords of the Imperium would have called them necromancers. The Phoenix's Rebirth was a highly sanctioned procedure of God-Machine revival, re-blessing, and revitalization that was first introduced in the early years of the Great Crusade, and soon forbidden by Mars. Of the high priests of Mars, there were precious few who held the deep knowledge required to both assess the damage of a fallen titan, and systematically revive the most sensitive components. Indeed, there was no single Magos with the knowledge needed to supervise the full process, and this - in fact - was believed to be of the Omnissiah's design. Such a procedure - effective necromancy of a machine spirit - was near tech-blasphemy, and if it was to be undertaken, then it would never be undertaken by a lone rogue priest. By the time of Horus's betrayal, there were no known Magos with even sufficient partial knowledge of the Phoenix's Rebirth process. That is, until the fortuitous return to the Sol system of the Explorator Fleet known as the Viatrix.

Among the Knight Houses of the Imperium, none has a more gruesome record of censure from the Council of Terra. In support of the Legio Phasmatis, the Knights Viatorum have walked as reavers, viciously slaying those who might assault the God Machines of the Legio using less direct tactics. Just as the great titans of Legio Phasmatis are the exemplars of the reapers of the enemies of the Imperium as wheat in a field, the Knights Viatorum walk as terrible phantoms across galactic battlefields.

COMPLETED PHOTOS:

By now we all know of the lovely Ira Deorum.

A good mix of shield stripping and armor crushing weaponry in this maniple.

By no means are Lancers small suits which should show just how massive a Warmaster is, and this Warmaster is a beauty.
