Promise of Catastrophe (Catastrophae Promissum) is one of the rare God-Engines of Legio Krytos to have survived the Titandeath and make an appearance at the Siege of Terra. During the Horus Heresy, the Promise of Catastrophe walked almost exclusively beside warriors of the Indolent Rapture, one of the siege specialist chapters of the Word Bearers legion. Being highly favoured and near-worshipped by the fanatical chapter is thought by some to be partly the cause of the Engine's survival through the turbulent time of the Age of Darkness. What happened to the Promise after the siege is unclear and undocumented. Nevertheless, rumoured sightings of the ancient Titan, fighting alongside various Heretic Astartes warbands, have begun to surface during the Era Indomitus.
