TOC's very own Princeps Seniores Siph, one of the TOC's Admins has completed the transfer of Engine 745 from Legio Gryphonicus from TOC's own Col. Hertford, to the new home of Legio Astorum. Rites of Colour have been completed and now Lupus Excelsior (formally Lupus Ad Pecus) Walks for Legio Astorum!
Congratulations to Princeps Siph for his new requisition.
A great looking Lucius Warhound from the Forge World of Lucius where Legio Astorum are based, Siph thought it was about time he had a Lucius Variant!
Great striking flame motif on the Leg Greaves often seen on old school Astorum Engines artwork
Nice heat staining on the Turbolaser barrels
A printed banner from TOCs own Drake Seta, (Siph - thanks Drake Seta!)
Old school flame graphics using a stencil and GW rattlecans
Re-Based from the original smaller round base
The Wolf Head variant of the Warhound, the Jackal has a snarling visage. Here the head is lined up to sight down the Plasma Blastgun - a unnecessary but human-like mannerism of this Engine.
The Princeps and crew. Princeps Siph added some gubbins behind the Command Throne on the plain bulkheads
The muzzle of the Plasma was preserved from the original paint job from Gryphonicus scheme
The badges to show Mechanicum of Mars allegiance with the Mars red
The chequers repeated from the Groin Armour and a eclipse black sun of Lucius Forge World where Legio Astorum are based.
The internals were preserved from the original paint job
