 Alex has sent us an update on Angelus Umbras. Alex first posted this engine on 1-19-2022. Now this mighty engine stands complete, ready to march next to her fellow Pallidus Mor sisters.

Princeps Alex has been hard at work and Angelus Umbras is stand tall as a result. This proud engine is coming together. The tech priest have been focusing on the litanies, and pouring on additional sacramental oil for this war engine. We will be looking forward to seeing more to come as it is completed.

Comments: She is a rescue engine, that has gone through an incomplete rite of construction and had suffered structure damage. Corners had been cut, so there will be a need to fabricate replacement bits to make up for missing parts. She is now awaiting her turn as her Sister Engine "Mors est Domina" (2570) nears completion. One day she will walk again under the Colors of the Pallidus Mor. "We are the Pride of Death!"

Comments: She is my first Titan, and has been an amazing experience all round. There is nothing that can compare to a Titan build in the Warhammer hobby.

Backstory:

Upon a tithe compact with the Planet of Cobra La, the Forgeworld of Tolkhan has begun supplying manufactured arms, vehicles and now Titans to the War efforts of Cobra La. Cobra La in return, every ten years will send a tithe of an entire generation that has just come of age to Tolkhan, as indentured works.

Mors est Domina is the first of the Tithe Demi Maniple to be sent to support the imperial war effort that Cobra La provides in service to the God Emperor. With many centuries of service to the Legio Pallidus Mor. She has been thought of as possibly to old to serve along new more advanced titans. She has now found new purpose supporting the regiments raised on Cobra La, adding more honor to her Legio.
