Comments: This is the second of two Aeldari Revenant titans constructed and painted by Princeps Goddenzilla for Mark G.

Spectre has a sculpted base and hand painted banners like its squad mates the Revenant Ghost and Phantom Isha's Shear. All three of Mark G's Ulthwé Aeldari titans share the same basic colour scheme as well as a number of decorative designs such as the diamond chequers and wraithbone symbols hand painted onto the banners and armour plates. Although each engine of Vaul has its own unique heraldry, the limited colour palette, symbols and bases tie them together into a single cohesive host of constructs.

Comments: This is the first of two Aeldari Revenant titans constructed and painted by Princeps Goddenzilla for Mark G.

'Ghost' sports a fully scratch built base incorporating a small active webway gate and patterned Aeldari tiling. The theme of the bases for Mark's titan collection is an Aeldari Maiden world being slowly reclaimed by nature with jungle plants climbing over ruined statues and paving.

A large steel pin was included within the Webway gate as it was constructed to ensure that the titan could be attached by only one foot. Although this pose looks delicate, it's actually extremely solid with reinforced pins through the major joints and weights under the base for extra stability.

The final component which really tops off the build is a trio of banners which were again hand painted by Goddenzilla the same way as those of the Phantom (13) 'Isha's Shear'.

Comments: Iron Spartan was my personal reward for completing my Ira Metallum – I saved for my Warlord while working on my Imperator and once it was completed, I pushed the button! I wanted to give my Warlord titan a specific battlefield role to help define its armaments and eventually settled on an honour guard for my Imperator titan.

As huge and powerful as Ira Metallum is, she is also vulnerable to being outmanoeuvred by faster engines. To this end, I decided that while my other engines and knights would range off into the mid-field, my Warlord would hang back to guard Ira creating an extremely powerful firebase.

Guarding a giant like Ira Metallum meant that Iron Spartan would spend a lot of time at long range, so was armed with an Apocalypse Missile Launcher Array to strip shields from enemy engines and a Conversion Bean Cannon to deliver the killing blow. I could have filled the remaining hardpoint with another long range weapon, but I decided to equip Iron Spartan with a close combat weapon (a gigantic upscaled laser lance) so that it could easily intercept any enemies which came to close to Ira.

And thus, with my decisions made, I went about constructing the two new weapon arms for my Warlord from scratch. You’ll notice that there are quite a few other conversions on my Warlord as I really wanted to go to town on it! I’m super happy with the final result and hope you like it too!

Iron Spartan Walks for Legio Metalica!

The Conversion beam cannon is the primary weapon system for my Warlord, drilling through enemy armour with ease.

My engine towers over a fallen statue in the central plaza of a city under siege.

The pteruges hanging from the shoulder provide additional protection for the left side of the body, protecting the delicate machinery of the spear arm. They also provide some much needed visual balance to the silhouette, offsetting the huge C-beamer!

Secutari titan guard protect Iron Spartan from behind mobile defence points while the Warlord provides similar protection for Ira Metallum. The spearhead really is quite intimidating!
