After a long period of inactivity after I completed the build, I finally got around to finishng Warlord Dominus Victoria (High Gothic for Lord of Victory) of the Legio Astorum, to accompany the Reaver Honorum (MRT10), Reaver Aquila-Oculus (MRT2576); Warhound Canis Praetor (MWH2974); Warhound Canis Bellum (MWH10); Warhound Lupus Regent (MWH4189) and now Warhound Canis Victrix (MWH3615).

Admittedly, after the initial build in 2016 I was burnt out for my enthusiasm of BIG-miniatures and feared the painting stage. The naked endoskeleton superstructure sat mocking me from the corner of the WeeMen room - I needed motivation for completing the build and that's where Titan Owners Club came in - I attended the 2018 TOC UK Walk and was spurred on and encouraged to get the Warlord finished for the next Walk! So, I re-started the project in earnest in mid 2018, particularly in 2019 I've concentrated on getting her ready and now she is done!

Dominus Victoria walks!! Its about damn time!!!!!!!!!!

A brutal Engine finishing loadout.

The insignia loos fantastic.

Look at that owners badge Transfer! Go TOC!!

Some lovely hat bloomage and gunshield symbology.

104! worn with pride!!

The Plasma coils have been painted brilliantly.

Dominus Victoria, you beautiful Engine you!

Work in Progress:

Siph has been continuing on his assembly of the now named: Dominus Victoira. Here is what he has to say:

Hi TOC, I have embarked on the journey of titan construction. So far going good, as 30mm Madness says, it's the journey not just the destination. So slow and purposeful...
I am using JB Weld Plastic Weld and so far, its the greatest two part epoxy resin I have ever used, very very strong and backed up with pinning in some places. Twin syringe type applicator so mess free too!
I considered several names, Dominus (latin for Lord... Warlord...) and my Warhound is already Canis Bellum (latin for War, so Dominus Bellum (Lord of War... Warlord) is out. Considered Dominus Exitum (Lord of Destruction), Dominus Mortem (Lord of Death) but finally settled for the more regal Lord of Victory - DOMINUS VICTORIA of the Legio Astorum.

More pictures and details of construction over at my Blog ( where I will be blogging a construction diary in parts, useful if you are planning your own. But please check out Dave Taylor Miniatures videos and TOC Resources tab up top for 30mm Madness tips, been great so far.

Up to date as of 08/12/2015

The torso has come along quite nicely and looks very sharp and cleanly built.

Good use of pinning to give the model strength.

The superstructure is really taking shape.

The extent of the magnetization is really paying off on this model.

  1. Sensible move waiting for armament. My warlord will have the bellicose volcano cannon, but I'm waiting for the power claw release before assembly. My worry is where these will mount in the shoulder.

  2. The claw has the same mount, however it lacks a "counter-weight" behind the shoulder like the other weapons so it will need some kind of mounting system in addition to the common pin through the center, I've elected to use a powerfull N42 9x25mm rod magnet ( it can easily hold the weight along with a vertical pin.

Really enjoy the building of mine. Been waiting for the fist aswell. Finally got one at Warhammer Fest.

    1. Thanks. Think I've settled on Plasma Sunfury and Bel Volcano now.
