Astramos Mortis Æternem was recently involved in conflict against the Iron Warriors Legion.  This dangerous conflict saw the venerable Reaver Titan escorted by an Ordo Reductor escort and a Primaris Lightning fighter for aerial support.  Arrayed against Astramos Mortis Æternem were an Iron Warriors Praetor who had brought Tactical Squads, a Contemptor Class Dreadnought, heavy support squadrons, air power, and artillery.  Many of these Traitor elements were capable of damaging the Reaver and the Ordo Reductor Magos saw fit to ensure that the Titan would be pretected from such.

Astramos Mortis Æternem came under fire early from the Tyrant Terminators of the Iron Warriors, four of her void shields dropping in a hail of electrical failure.  However, the foe had taken stock of the entire battlefield and knew that the ground support around it would be of a more immediate concern and turned their attention upon the Vorax and Thallax that were defending the Reaver.  Several of the machines were broken, but the units were left with enough fighting strength to continue.

Astramos vented her fury and her guns spoke in devotion to the Omnissiah.  Her melta cannon quickly claimed the lives of three of the traitorous Terminators that had the audacity to attempt to harm her while her laser blaster tore smoking craters into the earth, gouging some of the Iron Warriors heavy support from the planet and turning a Sicaran Battle Tank into nothing short of a charred and smoking ruin.  Seeking to further vent her rage, Astramos Mortis Æternem let fly with the missile launcher upon her carapace and annihilated an entire plasma gun wielding support squad and two of a nearby rapier array squad.

Surging overhead, both of the flyers, the Primaris Lightning protecting Astramos and the Iron Warriors own Fire Raptor, tore into the skies, stitching volley after volley of fire into the air attempting to kill one another.  Reeling from the sudden losses inflicted upon their ranks, the Iron Warriors seemed to have lost their iron within and failed to do much of note, destroying only three Mechanicum constructs, before Astramos bellowed her fury again.

Once more, Astramos' Moderati asissted their Princeps in the elimination of the Tyrant Terminators as the turbo of the Reaver spit death into their ranks, completely decimating what remained of them.  With one of the largest threats to Astramos Mortis Æternem taken care of, her melta cannon turned upon the infantry that was arrayed against her, the hiss of superheated air drowning out the screams of the cooked Astartes.  Further fire from the missile launcher saw even more of the rapier crews cut down.  The Iron Warriors were quickly running out of ground troops and their ability to stop the angry god-engine was vanishing by the second.

Seeking to stop the ground support of Astramos the Iron Warriors redoubled their efforts.  The Fire Raptor punched the lascannons out on the Primaris Lightning to deprive the Loyalist forces of their only anti-air capability while the fire of the Traitors focused on the Vorax, destroying more of their number.  In a bid to rob the Loyalists of their leadership, the Contemptor Dreadnought of the Iron Warriors charged into the Magos, intent to crush him in a very public display of power, yet somehow the Magos survived the vicious onslaught of the interred Astartes.

The Princeps of Astramos Mortis Æternem was able to reign the furious engine in and he and his Moderati set to work systematically destroying the rest of the Iron Warriors contingent.  The Titan advanced up the field as the fire happened, melta weaponry and turbo alike picked apart the remaining rapier arrays, their crews turned to nothing but atoms and their war machinery destroyed so thoroughly that it wasn't even good for scrap.  As the Reaver Titan finished killing the last of the infantry shortly after, the Magos gave a loud binaric code burst.  The Princeps scanned the field quickly to find the wounded or fallen Tech Priest, only to see that it was a cry of triumph, the Contemptor Dreadnought carved out and inactive below the Magos.

The Iron Warriors Fire Raptor was all that was left on the field, having witnessed the absolute slaughter of his brethren.  He decided that he would show the Loyalists his Legion's mettle, especially as any attempt to flee the airspace with so many ground forces still able to harm him would ensure his death.  The weapons of the Fire Raptor chattered and rounds impacted upon Astramos' void shields, doing nothing but drawing the attention of the Titan.  Astramos Mortis Æternem charged and buckled the armor of the flyer, the pilot stunned into inaction by the violent jarring of the craft.  Pict captures show that, looking up from the brief moment of shock, the Iron Warrior's eyes widened as the shin guard of Astramos Mortis Æternem became his last sight and the Fire Raptor exploded from the crushing force of being kicked by a Reaver Titan.

Combat effectiveness of Astramos Mortis Æternem was measured at 100%.  A single void shield become completely inoperable during the battle.  No structural damage was done to the Titan.  The Omnissiah saw favor upon its child.
