Reaver Titan No. 1812 - Imperio Cruentissimus, Legio Glacius

Certificate Number: 1812
Titan Name: Imperio Cruentissimus
Pattern: Mars Pattern Reaver (Chaos)
Primary Armament: Laser blaster x2, Apocalypse Missile Launcher
Princeps: Ignissimus (possessed by Khornate daemon Belgarniam)
Titan Legio: Legio Glacius
Battle Maniple Composition: Reaver (1812); Warhound (4535) and allied Knights

Owner: Jonathan F.
Location: Kentucky, USA
Comments: Construction has just began, but I aim to put together an ice themed legio/maniple consisting of multiple titans, Renegade Knights, and a dark Mechanicus Skitarii ground force.

Photos: I have included a picture of a Renegade Knight to illustrate the color scheme my Reaver and subsequent Warhounds will be based on. Current progress is limited to just the construction of the leg basic endoskeleton and base coating of the armour plates, but I expect rapid progress.
COMPLETED PHOTOS:
Imperio Cruentissimus Walks!

Well done carapace weapon.

The wonderful gradient chosen for the paint scheme translates really well to this weapon.

Their splintered nature from Mortis shows really well in both paint scheme and iconography.

A very subtle way to show allegiance but not dominate the look.

Very beautiful work on the eye.

A fearsome visage and loving the eye lenses.

From the back, you can see how the silvers and whites will help give some cover from snow blinded enemies.

Imperio Cruentissiumus stands ready for war.
WORK IN PROGRESS PHOTOS:
Very vibrant look to this Knight and the paint scheme the Titans will share.

The beginning of the superstructure.

Beginning the trim work.

Coming together quite nicely, and homage has been paid to the certificate number.

UPDATE PICTURES

Very beautiful gradient going all around.

Excellent work on the missiles.

The eye stands out really well without dominating the model.

The Reaver's "teeth" manage to look very menacing with this paint scheme.

Looking very good and deadly.
And she will not stand alone.

Beautiful engine, keep it coming - TOC

  1. Nice and vibrant. Very nice change up from the darker and muted colors so predominant in 40k. I like it!

    1. Thanks, I was trying to go for something a little different. I have so many Chaos models painted in the classic red and brass of Khorne, and I wanted to make something that would really stand out. All my CSM are based on snow bases so I decided to go with an Artic themed demi legio.

  3. Looking good! Not sure if it hold true for the Reaver, but for the Warhound, getting the legs done is one of the real milestones!

  4. Very cohesive paint scheme. It's very cool to see paired up with the knight in the same colors
