Comments: Played a little fast and loose with the lore, but a secret team of giant robots fighting space daemons feels pretty 40k to me.
"Much like the Ordo Xeno's Deathwatch, the Ordo Malleus' "Daemonium Venator" is comprised of volunteers from other Titan Legions and Knight Houses to fight Titans and Knights that have been corrupted by Chaos. In a "I scratch your back, you scratch mine" deal between the Adeptus Mechanicus and the Inquisition, the Mechanicus lends out it's mighty God Engines and the Inquisition turns a blind eye to some of the more "interesting" activities of the Mechanicus."

I like the lore. Are you painting him in pseudo Deathwatch colours with a silver arm and Carapace on one side?
ReplyDeleteGoing with solid black trimmed with gold and silver. Figured that a simpler paint scheme would help highlight the shilouette and size of the model.
