Comments: Constructed and painted by Princeps Goddenzilla. Building and painting Mark’s Phantom was a challenge - it’s a kit that can live or die on its pose and the sheer number of components in the ankles and feet make achieving the right stance tricky. I would definitely recommend a lot of dry fitting and pinning on this kit as it can be quite fragile once fully constructed! As it has a high centre of gravity, I knew that the Phantom would need a base. With a relatively large area to fill, I decided to add ancient Aeldari ruins for some visual interest.
I also tried my hand at some freehand Ulthwé symbols on the banners and hull – I was very
pleased with how all of it turned out!
