Adeptus Titanicus- The New Scale

Fans of the old EPIC and Adeptus Titanicus games will already have realized that the scale isn't compatible with what they used to play.  For some, this is a major drag.  For others, it's a blessing to see their old favorites brought up to a more manageable (and paintable) size.

Warhammer Community has more for us today at:

https://www.warhammer-community.com/2018/08/08/8th-aug-adeptus-titanicus-war-on-a-new-scalegw-homepage-post-4fw-homepage-post-1/

The new Adeptus Titanicus sees many of our favorites go from 28mm scale to just 8mm.  It's one heck of a size drop, but you'd be surprised that the detail is still there.

Originally, all of the models were going to be resin, but the decision to go with plastic was made to reach a larger base of players.  The models have been in development for the last two and a half years.

During the interview on WC, it's revealed that the choice of body, armor, and weapon frames was quite deliberate so that the weapon frames can be made available for later variants.  A very slick decision.

And we hope you have your magnets (5mm x 1mm discs) ready.  The developers intentionally built in ways to magnetize your Titans' carapace and arm weapons.

Want to know more?  Make sure to check the blog Saturday as we review a copy of Adeptus Titanicus that was sent to us early.  We'll be revealing a lot of things once we're able to go live.

**Don't forget to take a look at the stunning House Terryn Banner that went live on TOC today either.

  1. Debigulating is such a great word, better than shrinking! Ha ha

    1. So many terms flying around with this game already.

      Tactically Exploding Titan
      Nuclear Hug
      Debigulating

      What's next? :)

I'm genuinely impressed with the Warlord and really can't wait to see what they've done with my beloved Warhound.

  2. I really want to know what is the sweet spot for game size points wise. This will determine whether or not I will buy two GM boxes or one.
