Adeptus Titanicus- Legio Interfector Rules

Greetings Fellow Princeps.

Here is a look at Legio Interfector Rules within Doom Of Molech. This article provides a quick rundown to give you a feel for this Legio. Full rules are within the book itself.  We think you’ll like what you see if you play this Titan Legion.

Legio Interfector (Murder Lords)

Formally known as "The Lords Of Valour," the Legio Interfector was a young Legio raised from the Forge World of Valeous II during the early years of the Great Crusade. During that most august undertaking the Lords of Valour earned much honour and bravery, adding numerous triumphs to their campaign war banners.  This Legion threw it all away on the plains of Istvaan III as they became pawns to the Warmaster and earning the cognomen of the Murder Lords.

Legio Traits:

Creeping Madness reflects a Princeps whose own madness has affected the Titan, with this effect taking hold during the Movement Phase. The mechanic is resolved by rolling on a table, which could result in a Titan gaining the Charge Order, First Fire Order with some extra boosts, or even the removal of orders on nearby Titans.  It’s definitely fitting of a Legion that was so lost in madness that there is an unpredictability in their very nature.

Legio Specific Stratagems:

Portent of Doom: This stratagem can be purchased by any Legio Interfector player.  When played during the Stratagem Phase it allows the player to pick one Titan or Banner within 12” of an Interfector Titan and prevent them from receiving orders that turn.  Once more their madness afflicts others.

Tormented Machine Spirit: This stratagem is also for Interfector players and comes in effect when the Machine Spirit is awakened.   Essentially, the Titan lashes out at the nearest enemy unit instead of dealing with the normal table.

Legio Specific Wargear:

Interfector Reavers and Warhounds can take static rounds on their Vulcan Mega-bolters. These rounds grant a modified version of the Rapid trait when fired against void shields, causing additional hits on specific dice rolls instead of the usual rules.  This makes the Vulcan particularly great for Interfector Titans that are aiming to strip void shields.

Legio Specific Princeps Seniores Personal Traits.

Interfector Personal Traits take on a range of forms, from Princeps calling to higher powers on how they go out in battle (including forcing some nasty meltdowns even though it’s risky), to an insane pilot changing dice roles where it is a visual representation of their psychosis, to a puppet in the command throne that cannot gain command check bonuses but also ignores critical damage to the head.  All of these are fluffy and thematic, reflecting a Legion that has completely lost its grip on sanity.

There’s a brief summary of the traits of the Legio Interfector from the new Doom of Molech expansion available now! If you like this we would advise purchasing this release and playing new and exciting Legions in epic Adeptus Titanicus battles.
