Global Battlefield - The Update

We're sorry it's been a while since we got the Global Battlefield updated.  Plenty of things have been going on, our GIS software had some MASSIVE changeovers, and then Shadow's neck needed surgery just before we were going to tackle things.  3 months post-recovery, we have your first update to the Global Battlefield - the Titan counts!

UK is swinging big, 1/3 more Titans registered than its nearest sibling, the USA.  488 Titans is seriously impressive!

Global Battlefield - September 2021 Update

 A ton of new registrations, lead by the UK which is now just one Titan behind the US, has shifted the dynamics of the UK and US.  Updated Global Battlefield maps are now live, but two nations in particular have seen shakeups in counts and control.

Global Battlefield - First of 2021

Yeah, 2020 wasn't our year to show off the Global Battlefield.  We had such an influx of Titans that it really wasn't worth updating the maps because we'd have updated so often Shadow's fingers would have fallen off.  :)  We still have a healthy backlog, but now we have a good opportunity to show you where we currently stand!

Global Battlefield - Vox from the UK Restored!

With the help of Princeps Senioris Siph we were able to repair the database and simplify some of the map boundaries to make things much easier.  It happened so fast we can bring you an updated Global Battlefield mapset for the UK right now.  Enjoy, Princeps!

Global Battlefield Update - The Club Marches On, 3-6-20

It's been over half a year since the last Global Battlefield update and a lot has happened, so much so that it's why we delayed its update.  Now that things are quiet and our backlogs are "mostly" cleared out, we feel comfortable showing you some data that we don't expect to see any seismic shifts yet.

UK - We had growth!  Where's our map!?

The last time we did Global Battlefield several of you eagle-eyed Princeps noticed that the map had errors caused by the way registrations are listed.  Our Titan database is what feeds into the Global Battlefield and the database is only as good as the registration info.  Registrations not at your County level therefore mean that the Global Battlefield is off.  

We're actually working to update the database to help us "repair" the Global Battlefield in the UK and we're creating a system among the staff to make sure the County is properly reflected when submissions go up.  This means future Global Battlefield maps will be more accurate.  We'll do our best to have something for you on the next update since we know if we showed it off today you'd be calling out the same errors that already exist.

Germany and Australia - Two stalemates.

There is nothing new to report in Germany and Australia, so we have no updated maps for you.

Canada - Getting close!

Canada is just shy of the 15 Titan mark where the Club creates a branch and also begins tracking it further on the Global Battlefield.  Keep it up!

United States - Explosive growth and many changes.

The UK actually has had the most growth overall since our last update but it seems that our second-fastest growing nation saw many shifts in its landscape and a large geographic spread in its growth.  Many states flipped from neutral to Traitor and the insidious spread of Chaos saw it affect two new Regions.  However, many neutral states also flipped to Loyalist and the two forces doggedly pursue one another.

Terra - Let the world burn!

There really doesn't seem to be much that's changed when you look at it in high level.  Control of nations seems not to have flipped at all and the relative Titan counts are the same.  Still, it shows just how much reach the Club has had.  Excellent work.

Global Battlefield- October 5th, 2019 Update

We haven't forgotten about your ongoing earth-shattering war, Princeps.  In fact, our cogitators have been working hard today to bring you new information about Terra's Titan deployments on the global scale in in the United States.

Germany hasn't had anything to report this time around and our servitors in the UK are working with the resident Tech Priests to revise the data for a different level of display. Soon other nations will also have their own maps.  Exciting times indeed, unless you are one of the servitors.

Global Titans and Control

No new nations have joined since our update in March, but new Titans continue to reinforce each nation.  Australia and Canada have both received large amounts of reinforcement.

Reinforcements are one-sided though since the control of nations went unchanged.

United States Titans and Control

A large number of reinforcements entered the United States, particularly in California and Virginia.  Overall the growth in the United States these last six months has come on the eastern side of the country, with new States lighting up the map.

We'll continue to update the Global Battlefield every few months and as different nations exceed the 15 Titan threshold they'll receive their own maps and update the system by which we break down each nation's own regional balance.

The Global Battlefield Reborn

It's been quite some time since we provided you with the maps for our old Global Battlefield.  It's always been good to see where the membership is and who is in control of certain swathes of territory.  Much like the Horus Heresy and the 41st Millennium we can draw the lines of battle that reflect your fight.  

Does Germany fight for the Emperor?  Does the UK follow the Warmaster?  Global Battlefield showcases Terra's shifting allegiances and those of nations with large Titan contingents.  Welcome to the Global Battlefield!
