Walk 2017 USA- Event in Review

In the distant past of M3, Titans did battle with one another, long before the outbreak of Horus' rebellion.  In the now lost City of New Orleans, Princeps turned their guns upon one another in a battle that not even Holy Mars remembers.  How did this come to be?  And what can Traitor and Loyalist alike learn from this?

The Walk 2017- USA was admittedly not a major success in terms of total attendance due to hurricanes, health issues, and other engagements in life coming up.  Where the Walk was succesful is the four Princeps from across the U.S. coming together, with three bringing their Titans and engaging in a giant game on a 12' by 15' board with large terrain and larger armies.  It's greatest successes were the production of laughs and smiles, the introduction of people to a new city, and newly formed friendships.

Princeps "War" made a later appearance, his Lucius Warhound to be featured later on TOC as the details of his Titan are still being ironed out.

Walk 2017 in Two Days!!

Saturday, the 2nd sees the first Titan Owners Club event in New Orleans!  There's still time to make it and we have plenty of space left for you to get in and have fun, even if you don't actively take part in the game(s).

Format: 8th Edition 40k with Titans, Knights, Mechanicus, and supporting forces.  Multiple games with different scenario types, special rules as needed, and more.

Who: Only members of the Titan Owners Club that have a registered Forge World Titan or Knight Banner (as of the membership expansion) may enter this event.  Guests and spectators are allowed.

The official host city is New Orleans, LA!  And the guys at Games Workshop: Riverbend even wish to meet us.  Beginning on Friday, members who are in the area will receive a tour of New Orleans as well as a visit to the local GW store where the denizens of the city eagerly await games with TOC members that wish to bring their Titans in for that day.

Walk 2017- USA in a Month!

Titan Owners Club USA- Walk 2017

United States Titan owners (and our Canadian cousins), now is your time to shine!  The first official sanctioned TOC event is officially coming to the United States!  

When: September 2017; the full date will be revealed once the location is secured

Where: Three potential host cities (largely dependent upon space needs)

 

Baton Rouge, Louisiana

New Orleans, Louisiana

Houston, Texas

The host city will be determined based on the expected size of the event based on how many people RSVP.  All United States TOC members are invited to this event, in addition, so as not to leave Canadian players out, they are also invited.  

For those wondering why the event is held in the southeast and away from the coasts, it is so that we can have a TOC co-owner there to help ensure the first event works out as we hope.  Following that, the TOC events in the U.S. will actually travel around the country and give each state a chance to shine.

Format: Apocalypse using Forge World Titans, Knights, Mechanicus, Skitarii, and a set amount of support forces.  However, if the Adeptus Titanics floor rules come available to us, we'll use those instead.

This gives everyone a reason to finish off their newest Titan related journeys, get friends into the hobby, play a massive game, meet your fellow TOC owners, and also encourage other Titan owners to jump on board.  Let's make the one of the world's nations burn beneath our armored steps!
