Princeps Shark: An Introduction

Hello all! I am Robert or, as you will see me here, Princeps Shark. I am pleased to be your incoming US Branch chairman. Some may consider me “old school” as I began my journey with Warhammer back in 1988, but I am just as passionate about the hobby as when I started.  I have been a TOC member since 2017, and have since added two more engines.

I have always had a love of giant robots. I collect Transformers, build Gunpla and have a nice assortment of Games Workshop models. The extension into resin God-Engines was a natural progression. My resin addiction began with an Avenger Strike Fighter, followed by a Marauder Destroyer. Adding a Warhound (Mars-4622 )in 2017 was the next logical step. I currently field armies from the Astra Militarum (13th Cadian Irregulars), Chaos Space Marines (Sons of Fulgrim-Emperor’s Children Warhost), Imperial Knights (Knights of House Kreil) and this year will be adding Adeptus Mechanicus (Beta-Median Titan Cohort Numina-Thoth). Of course, I also command a maniple of God-Engines of Legio Perennia (Mars-4622, Mars-5891, Warbringer-156).

I have been lucky enough to have been the Southwest Regional Coordinator and US Branch Secretary-Treasurer for the last three years. In my position, I have had the pleasure of planning events and interacting with some of the membership. I am looking forward to getting the chance to meet more of you soon and continue the work of my predecessors.

Please feel free to reach out to me at tocusa.chair@gmail.com.

Introducing Tagg

Hello All!

I'm Tagg, a fairly new member of Titan Owners Club and the newest member of the TOC staff. You may have seen me  posting here in the comments on other Titans and soon making new posts themselves. The team was kind enough to think of me when they needed extra help, and I look forward to sharing my love of Titans with all the other Titan lovers out there and help grow the community. I know how exciting it was to see my own engines get posted online so I am excited to help get more lovely engines registered and fight some of them soon!

I've been in the hobby for over 10 years now, and I definitely can't seem to kick this resin addiction. I enjoy all aspects of the hobby, but I am mostly a builder at heart. Give me a pile of plasti-card, a bitz box, and a gallon of super glue and I'll build anything. I love to scrap together new terrain pieces or all manner of ork vehicles; I make it a point that none of my vehicles look the same, from trukks to my greatest construct, a Great Gargant. I like to read the books as well, and have knocked out the first 30 of the Horus Heresy series. Reading Mechanicum really got me interested in the Titans. My own Titan journey finally began late one night last year while browsing Ebay. I stumbled across a Lucius Warhound, in rough shape but whole and needing some love, and I couldn't say no. Fast forward; I am now the proud owner of three (3) Titans. Magna Tormentum : Mars Class Reaver (Reaver-AWOC-13), Oculus Aquilae : Lucius Warhound (Lucius-AWOC7), and the newly arrived Mars Warhound (Mars-5402). They belong to Legio Oberon; a Legio that had no details previously so I have made it into my own with a flaming sword banner and orange/black theme. They have both had a Walk but have yet to square off against an enemy Titan, so I cannot wait for my first Engine Kill!

"Klaus" stands ready with a new paint job and base.

UV Glow. Tom Markham does wonders.

I'm a huge history buff as well, and was amazed at how many historical references there are in 40k; something I find fantastic. I love to read and chat about anything from the Bronze Age to World War 2. I'm routinely reading either a historical piece or a 40k book of some kind. Since I can't resist mixing history and 40k, I'm also working on a new force of Secutarii Hoplites to escort my God-Engines into combat. However they will be built up to look like a Macedonian Phalanx from antiquity with long sarissa pikes and I am really excited to start that project.

Mags is very excited as you can see.

My primary army for 40k is my Death Korps of Krieg (see resin addiction :D). The 219th siege regiment, I love the models and they got me started down the path of Forge World. They were also a driving factor for getting the Lucius Warhound. Since Lucius provides Krieg with their equipment, couldn't pass that chance to sync my Legio with my primary 40k army! I also have a large Ork army complete with its own Stompa mob and Great Gargant. I also have a gargantuan squiggoth coming soon!

Keep an eye out for my name soon enough and I look forward to meeting some of you, and chatting with the rest of you on here!

DJ - An Introduction

Greetings fellow Princeps and Scions! I am DJ, the newest staff member of the Titan Owners Club. I have been active in this community since May and have a true passion for Knights and Titans. I am a proud member of the TOC, and am grateful to be a part of such a great community. It brings joy to my heart to see members, new and old, share their love of Titans in this community with other like-minded individuals.

I am currently the very proud owner of Reaver Titan #2343, a Cerastus Atropos, Cerastus Lancer, Questoris Gallant, Questoris Crusader, Dominus Castellan, and Dominus Valiant. I also have an Acastus Porphyrion lined up to be built after NOVA.

My Knights owe their allegiance to House Raven, and make up the banner "Exhalted Order of Ravens." They also swear fealty to Legio Metalica and have been blessed with a fierce ally, Magna Avem, my Reaver Titan. I also plan on getting a Warlord Titan in the very near future, and don't plan on stopping there. I wholeheartedly enjoy building, painting, playing, and talking about Titans and their Knightly hosts. It gives me great pleasure to share my passion with other like-minded individuals.

A little bit about me. I am 29 years old, and have been playing Warhammer 40k on and off since 2005. I have recently gotten into Knights and Titans since the release of the Dominus class of Knights. I love everything about Knights and Titans and hope to share my passion with all of you.

Shadow - An Introduction

I thought I'd take a moment to introduce myself to the Titan Owners Club at large.

I'm Nick, a fellow Titan owner and the new member of the TOC team. But you guys will see me on here as Shadow (or ShadowWolf32387 depending on which account I'm on in a given day.) Drake was kind enough to offer me the opportunity to be a part of the team that updates the TOC and to help drive progress as this group continues to grow and the world sees the love of the hobby and in particular those of us who love the stomping God-Machines of the Horus Heresy and Warhammer 40,000.

I've been a hobby person from a young age, starting at 8 years-old with model cars and motorcyles. As my mom tells it, I always had a thing for taking things apart and then putting them back together. As I've gotten older, the taking them apart has faded while a love for putting things together has never waned. I still build my old models and of course I'm also in to the 40k hobby now as well. I'm actually a new addition to the 40k hobby and have finally (I can imagine Drake is cackling at this) made the jump into Horus Heresy. I started playing 40k literally the day Sixth Edition officially dropped.
While I am relatively new to the hobby and a bit of a young blood compared to many others, I'm by no means uneducated or lacking in knowledge.  I have a great hobby mentor in my best friend, who taught me a lot about 40k and the really old fluff, and I'm a self professed "lore whore".  Put a 40k, Horus Heresy, or Titan related book in front of me and I can't get enough of reading it.  Drake himself is why I got to experience Titanicus.

My primary army for 40k is my personal Chapter, the Hunter Wolves, descendents of the Blood Angels.  I also have several other 40k forces, and a Blood Angels Legion for 30k.  However, I've always had a thing for mecha and robots, and so the concept of commanding a Titan in my games was an immediate draw.  My all-time favorite movie is still Robot Jox, if anyone can remember that old classic.

All it took was some time, a lot of patience, and a good tax return and eventually I was able to get my first Titan.  That being the beautiful Venator Lupus.  I do plan to get an additional Warhound as I'm very much a fluff bunny when I game.  I look forward to getting her sister on this blog eventually, and probably a Reaver too if my love holds.

I also do Imperial Knights with my forces and the Titan Guard for Venator.

I'm looking forward to contributing to this blog and helping Drake to boost the membership of TOC as well as to help add some new features to the blog.  He and I are already working on some ideas to expand content and there is even an experimental content piece going up in a few days that we think you will like.  It's time for the Titans to walk, and I'm glad to be a part of this beautiful initiative.
